BY REGISTERING WITH PASAJ, YOU DECLARE AND ACCEPT THAT YOU HAVE READ ALL ARTICLES, SUB-ARTICLES, AND ANNEXES OF THIS USER AGREEMENT, THAT YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT, AND THAT YOU UNCONDITIONALLY APPROVE AND ACCEPT ALL PROVISIONS SET FORTH HEREIN.
This Pasaj Terms of Service (“Agreement”) is executed electronically between:
Service Provider HAN YAZILIM BİLİŞİM HİZMETLERİ ALİ ANIL CAN (“Pasaj”, “we”, “our”, “us”)
The User Any individual or legal entity who registers for and uses the Pasaj mobile application (“User”, “you”)
By registering for or using the Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement in full and without reservation.
Pasaj The mobile application and associated website operated by HAN YAZILIM BİLİŞİM HİZMETLERİ ALİ ANIL CAN.
User / Member Any individual or legal entity that accepts this Agreement and uses Pasaj services.
Application The Pasaj mobile application published on iOS and Android platforms, including https://pasaj.io and all related subdomains.
Book Exchange The voluntary exchange of physical books between Users, conducted independently and outside the responsibility of Pasaj.
Subscription Plan The service plans offered by Pasaj, including the FREE and PRIME plans.
FREE Plan The free tier allowing Users to list up to three (3) active books.
PRIME Plan The paid subscription tier allowing unlimited book listings.
AI Review Automated content moderation supported by artificial intelligence to enhance platform safety and compliance.
3.1 This Agreement governs the terms and conditions under which Users access and use Pasaj services.
3.2 All explanations, rules, warnings, policies, and notices published within the Application form an integral part of this Agreement.
3.3 By accepting this Agreement, Users agree to comply with all such provisions.
4.1 Third-Party Authentication Membership is completed exclusively through “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Apple”. By registering, Users consent to these third-party providers transmitting the necessary profile information to Pasaj.
4.2 Age Requirement Users must be at least 13 years old and must not have been previously suspended or banned from Pasaj.
4.3 Account Security The security of the Google or Apple account used for authentication is the sole responsibility of the User.
5.1 User Responsibilities
Users agree that they shall comply with this Agreement and all applicable laws and regulations; consent to the disclosure of information to competent authorities where legally required; remain solely responsible for safeguarding their Google or Apple account credentials; guarantee that all information provided is accurate, lawful, and up to date; not transfer or assign account rights to third parties without prior written consent from Pasaj; not use Pasaj for unlawful, harmful, misleading, abusive, automated, or competitive purposes; acknowledge that Pasaj is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from User negligence; and accept that usernames and book listings may be visible to other Users where relevant.
5.2 Rights and Obligations of Pasaj
Pasaj reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time, with or without prior notice; provide links to third-party websites without assuming responsibility for their content; suspend or delete accounts that are fraudulent, duplicated, abusive, automated, or non-compliant with this Agreement; confirm that no agency, partnership, employment, or joint venture relationship exists between Pasaj and Users; and use publicly visible usernames for promotional and marketing purposes.
To ensure platform integrity, prevent spam, and maintain a fair and secure user experience, Pasaj applies automated usage limitations based on Subscription Plan.
6.1 FREE Plan Limits
Users under the FREE Plan are subject to the following limitations:
Short Burst Limit: Maximum three (3) book additions per one (1) minute. Hourly Cap: Maximum ten (10) book additions per one (1) hour. Daily Cap: Maximum twenty-five (25) book additions within twenty-four (24) hours. Probation Period: During the first forty-eight (48) hours following account creation, a maximum of five (5) book additions per day applies.
6.2 PRIME Plan Limits
Users under the PRIME Plan are subject to the following limitations:
Short Burst Limit: Maximum five (5) book additions per one (1) minute. Hourly Cap: Maximum thirty (30) book additions per one (1) hour. Daily Cap: Maximum one hundred (100) book additions within twenty-four (24) hours. Probation: No initial probation limitation applies.
6.3 Enforcement
Usage limits are enforced automatically. Attempts to bypass technical restrictions, automate submissions, manipulate system safeguards, or otherwise circumvent platform limits constitute a violation of this Agreement and may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of the account.
Pasaj reserves the right to adjust usage thresholds when reasonably necessary to protect system stability, user safety, and platform integrity.
Basic use of Pasaj under the FREE Plan is provided at no cost.
Fees for the PRIME Plan are displayed during purchase and are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
FREE Plan Up to three (3) active book listings.
PRIME Plan Monthly or yearly paid subscription allowing unlimited book listings and additional features. Billing and renewals are fully managed by the relevant app store.
8.1 Intermediary Platform Pasaj acts solely as a hosting provider and intermediary service provider. Pasaj provides the technical platform to connect Users and is not a party to any Book Exchange.
8.2 No Warranty Pasaj does not act as an agent, representative, or guarantor of any User. Pasaj makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, condition, legality, safety, or delivery of any book.
8.3 User Risk All Book Exchanges occur at the sole discretion and risk of the Users involved. Users are fully responsible for evaluating exchange partners and selecting safe exchange methods.
8.4 Limitation of Liability Pasaj shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from Book Exchanges, including in-person meetings or third-party delivery services.
If a PRIME subscription expires or is canceled, the User’s account automatically reverts to the FREE Plan. Book listings exceeding the three-book limit will be locked (inactive) but retained securely. Full access is restored upon re-subscription.
AI-assisted moderation may review book content for harmful or abusive material, mismatched titles or authors, fraudulent listings, and safety-related concerns, as well as profile content for inappropriate or unsafe material, impersonation risks, and compliance with platform rules.
AI systems do not make decisions with legal or significant effects without human oversight.
Pasaj maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. The following content and conduct are strictly and permanently prohibited on Pasaj:
Violations will result in immediate and permanent account termination, evidence preservation, and mandatory reporting to the relevant national and international child protection authorities and law enforcement agencies. For full details, please refer to our Child Safety Standards.
All personal data processing activities are governed by the Pasaj Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this Agreement.
All designs, software, and content associated with Pasaj are the exclusive property of HAN YAZILIM BİLİŞİM HİZMETLERİ ALİ ANIL CAN. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission.
Pasaj may update this Agreement at any time. Amendments become effective immediately upon publication within the Application. Continued use of the Application following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
Pasaj shall not be liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, infrastructure failures, or widespread technical disruptions.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Istanbul shall have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
This Agreement remains in effect for as long as the User’s account is active. Pasaj may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement or applicable laws.

The Pasaj name, brand, and logo are the exclusive property of HAN YAZILIM BİLİŞİM HİZMETLERİ ALİ ANIL CAN and may not be used in any promotional or commercial material without prior written permission.
