Overview
Once a book swap is completed in Pasaj, you can still access a summary of that exchange for reference purposes. The Info button allows you to review a quick history of the subject swap, including both parties’ roles and the books involved.
This feature is designed to provide transparency and clarity for past book swap and book exchange activities, especially when reviewing previous interactions related to swap books nearby or exchange books nearby.
Please note that this section is strictly for historical reference. No changes can be made to a completed swap.
How to Preview Swap Details
- Go to My Books
tab in the bottom navigation bar. - Tap on the Completed Swaps
icon in the top bar. - Find the relevant swap.
- Tap on Info button.
A bottom sheet will appear on the screen.
Understanding the Bottom Sheet
The bottom sheet consists of two segmented controls:
- Proposer
- Owner
These segments represent the two roles involved in the completed swap.
- The Proposer is the user who initially sent the swap proposal.
- The Owner is the user who received the initial proposal.
Depending on your role in that specific swap, you will see the label “You” displayed next to either Proposer or Owner. This helps you quickly identify your position in the transaction.
Viewing Swap Information
When you tap on either Proposer or Owner, the following information is displayed for the selected side:
- Book title
- Author
- Book cover image
- Avatar of the user who owns the subject book
- Book Display ID
Each book in Pasaj has a unique Book Display ID. This identifier helps distinguish listings and is especially useful when you share books externally or try to find books nearby again in the future.
If you tap on the book cover image, you will be redirected to the Book Preview page of that specific listing. From there, you can view the public-facing details of the book as they appear in the Feed.
Important Notes
- The Info section is available for review only.
- The Chat button is also available for historical reference only.
- Since the swap is completed, no new proposals, edits, or modifications can be made from this screen.
This ensures the integrity of completed exchanges while still allowing you to revisit past book exchange details when needed.
