Overview
When a book swap is completed, you can still access a summary of that exchange directly from the chat conversation. The Info button in the chat allows you to review a quick history of the swap, including both parties’ roles and the books involved.
This feature provides transparency and clarity for past book swap and book exchange activities, making it easier to review previous interactions when you swap books nearby or exchange books nearby.
Please note this section is strictly for historical reference. No changes can be made to a completed swap from the chat.
How to Preview Swap Details
- Open the Chats
tab in Pasaj. - Locate the conversation related to the ongoing or completed swap and tap it.
- Tap the Info
button at top bar. - A bottom sheet will appear on the screen showing the swap details.
Understanding the Bottom Sheet
The bottom sheet includes two segmented controls:
- Proposer
- Owner
These segments represent the two roles in the swap.
- The Proposer is the user who initially sent the swap proposal.
- The Owner is the user who received the initial proposal.
Your role in the swap is labeled as You, helping you quickly identify your position in the transaction.
Viewing Swap Information
When you tap on either Proposer or Owner, the following details are displayed for that side:
- Book title
- Author
- Book cover image
- Avatar of the user who owns the book
- Book Display ID
Each book in Pasaj has a unique Book Display ID, which helps distinguish listings and makes it easier to locate books or share them externally.
Tapping the book cover redirects you to the Book Preview page, where you can see public-facing details of the book as it appears in the Feed.
Important Notes
- The Info section is for preview only.
- Completed swaps cannot be edited or modified from this screen.
This ensures integrity while allowing you to revisit past book exchange details when needed.
