Overview
The Blocked Users section allows you to review all accounts you have previously blocked. Blocking is a privacy and safety feature designed to prevent unwanted interactions during book swap or book exchange activities.
When a user is blocked:
- They cannot see your books in Feed
or anywhere else in the app. - They cannot send you proposals.
- They cannot initiate a chat with you.
- They cannot engage with your account in any way.
This ensures you can safely continue to find books nearby and exchange books nearby without unwanted interaction.
How to Access Blocked Users
To view your blocked users list:
- Tap on your Profile Avatar
in the bottom navigation menu. - Tap on Blocked Users.
You will see a list of all blocked accounts. Each user appears with:
- Profile avatar
- Display name
- An Unblock button (if the account is active)
Unblocking a User
If you decide to unblock someone:
- Open the Blocked Users list.
- Find the user you want to unblock.
- Tap Unblock next to their name.
Once unblocked:
- Both users will be able to view each other’s books again.
- You will be able to send and receive new proposals.
- You may initiate new chats going forward.
Unblocking restores the possibility of future interaction only.
Important Notes
Previous actions are not reversed:
- Declined or withdrawn proposals will NOT be restored.
- Archived chats will NOT be reopened automatically.
Unblocking does NOT recover past swap history or reopen previous conversations. It simply allows new engagement from that point forward.
Deleted Users in the List
If you see a profile labeled Deleted User in your blocked users list, it means the related account has been permanently removed from Pasaj.
These entries will display a Remove button instead of Unblock.
To clear such an entry:
- Tap Remove next to the Deleted User.
This action only removes the entry from your blocked list. It does not restore or reconnect the deleted account.
Managing your blocked users helps you maintain control over your book swap experience while continuing to swap books nearby and exchange books nearby with confidence.
