How to Access Distance Filters
To search within a specific range:
- Open the Feed
screen in Pasaj. - Tap the Filter
icon located at the top right corner. - You will be redirected to the full Filter page.
On the Filter page, scroll to the Distance section.
Understanding the Distance Options
Inside the Distance section, you will see two toggle options:
Show All
When Show All is enabled, Pasaj will return book listings regardless of distance. This means you can see results from any location, without radius limitation. Don't worry, we still apply a good radius limit to prevent you from seeing listings from far far away 👍
Set Distance
When Set Distance is enabled, Pasaj will only return books within the maximum radius you select.
These two toggles work exclusively:
- Enabling Set Distance will automatically disable Show All.
- Enabling Show All will automatically disable Set Distance.
This ensures that only one distance preference is active at a time.
Adjusting the Distance Radius
Once Set Distance is toggled on, a slider will appear.
You can use this slider to define your maximum search radius. The slider allows you to set a distance of up to 100 units.
The unit displayed depends on your measurement preference in Settings.
- Kilometers (km) if metric is selected.
- Miles if imperial is selected.

After selecting your preferred radius, tap Save at the top right corner of the Filter page to apply the changes.
⚠️ If you do NOT tap Save, your filter changes will NOT be applied.
The Feed will refresh and display books only within your selected distance, helping you exchange books nearby and find books nearby more effectively.
