- Open Chats
from the bottom navigation bar. - Make sure you are in the Active tab.
- Tap the Filter
icon located at the top right corner. - You will be redirected to the full Filter page.
- Scroll to the Distance section.
Understanding the Distance Options
Inside the Distance section, you will see two toggle options:
Show All
When Show All is enabled, Pasaj will display chats regardless of the distance between you and the related book listing. This means you can see conversations connected to any location, without applying a radius limitation.
A reasonable system-based radius is still applied in the background to prevent results from extremely distant locations.
Set Distance
When Set Distance is enabled, Pasaj will only display chats associated with books that are within the maximum radius you select.
These two toggles work exclusively:
- Enabling Set Distance will automatically disable Show All.
- Enabling Show All will automatically disable Set Distance.
Only one distance preference can be active at a time.
Adjusting the Distance Radius
Once Set Distance is toggled on, a slider will appear.
You can use this slider to define your maximum search radius. The slider allows you to set a distance of up to 100 units.
The unit displayed depends on your measurement preference in Settings:
- Kilometers (km) if metric is selected.
- Miles if imperial is selected.

After selecting your preferred radius, tap Save at the top right corner of the Filter page to apply the changes.
