Chats History is where all concluded conversations are stored. As outlined in the Getting Started guide, the journey in Pasaj begins with adding a book, sending or receiving a proposal, discussing the swap in chat, and making a final decision to swap or withdraw.
Once a proposal is either completed as a swap or withdrawn, the related chat is automatically moved to the History tab. These chats are considered closed and cannot be re-activated.
How to Access Chats History
To view your concluded chats:
- Tap on Chats
in the bottom navigation bar. - Switch to the History tab.
You will now see the list of all chats that have been concluded.
What You See in Chats History
Each chat item in the History tab includes the following details:
- Book thumbnail
- Book title
- Author name
- Conclusion label · Swapped or Withdrawn
- Avatar of the other user
- Incoming
or outgoing 
proposal indicator icon - Timestamp of the latest action
This structure allows you to quickly review past activity related to your book swap or book exchange process.
Filtering Chats in History
If you have multiple concluded conversations, you can Filter 
your Chats History to quickly locate specific records.
Chats can be filtered by:
- Book title
- Author
- Display ID
- Swap status · Swapped or Withdrawn
- Your role · Proposer or Owner
- Category
- Membership type
Filtering helps you efficiently track your previous attempts to swap books nearby.
Clear All Chats History
If you prefer not to keep a record of past conversations, you can clear your entire chat history.
To clear all concluded chats:
- Open the History tab under Chats
- Tap on More Options
at the top right corner. - Select Clear All
This action removes all chats listed under the History tab.
Delete a Single Chat from History
If you only want to remove a specific chat:
- Open the History tab under Chats
- Tap on the chat you want to delete.
- Tap on More Options at the top right corner.
- Select Delete
Only the selected chat will be removed from your history.
View Swap Details from Chat History
Inside each concluded chat, you can review the swap summary.
To do this:
- Open the History tab under Chats
- Tap on the chat you want to delete to open it first.
- Tap on the Info icon
at the top bar.
This will display the swap details related to that specific chat session.
